The length of the shaft can mean the difference between deviating darts and grouping darts in the spot of your choice. Do you want to know more about the influence of shafts? Types of Dart Shafts

There are multiple materials shafts can be made from: nylon dart shafts, aluminum dart shafts, titanium dart shafts and carbon dart shafts. In general, the aluminum and especially the titanium shafts are sturdier than the standard nylon shafts, but choosing a shaft most of all depends on personal preference.

Aside from the regular shafts, you can also go spinning dart shafts. These topspin shafts allow your flight to swivel, which provides more space for other darts. By using spinning dart shafts you can also prevent robin hoods, which are darts that bounce off your other darts in the board. On top of that, there are also different dart shaft sizes. Using a different shaft size will have impact in your throws. Long darts shafts will increase the stability and make it float longer, while short dart shafts do the opposite. Try out different shapes and sizes to find out what are the best dart shafts for you.

If you are looking for a dart shaft and flight system, take a look at our assortment of L Style shafts or Cuesoul Dart shafts. These are combinations of a dart shaft and a dart flight in one piece, which provide unique perks to the dart.

Broken dart or shaft?

Our customer service receives a lot of question regarding broken darts. Often, the dart's not broken, but the shaft is. Shafts are consumables, which means that they need to be replaced often. Even professional darts players suffer from this problem. Michael van Gerwen, for example, uses several shafts per match and he's not the only one! Other examples include Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, and James Wade. All of them use several shafts every match. You can find more information about this on our blog.
