Target K-Flex Flights are specially designed dart flights that attach directly to the dart, forming an integrated flight system with the shaft. This means that the flight and shaft work together as one piece, ensuring the flight stays securely in place and maintains the correct angle (90 degrees) throughout your game, even after repeated use. Normally, flights can come loose or bend, which can cause your darts to fly unpredictably. With K-Flex, you don't have to worry about that.
Another advantage is that if another dart hits your K-Flex flight, it is designed to flex slightly. This helps reduce the chance of dart from deflecting off and out of the board. Additionally, the edges of the K-Flex flights are thicker than standard flights, making them more durable and less prone to damage. This means that even if you play frequently, K-Flex flights last longer. It being a solid piece also means that you cant “Robin Hood” your shafts and break them.
Target K-Flex Flights come in two shapes: NO2 and NO6. The difference between these two lies in the size of the flight.
NO6 is slightly smaller, which causes the dart to fly faster and more directly towards the target. This makes the NO6 flight ideal for players who want a dart that’s more focused and precise.
NO2 is a bit wider, which allows the dart to fly a little slower through the air, giving you more control.
Which flight is better depends on your preference. If you notice your darts tend to hang too low in the board, the smaller NO6 flight might be a better choice. It helps the dart fly faster and flatter, ensuring it enters the board with a cleaner trajectory. The best option is to try both and see which one feels more comfortable.
In addition to choosing between NO2 and NO6, you can also choose from three different lengths of K-Flex flights:
Short (61.6 mm): The shaft length of the K-Flex is 19 mm. If your dart tends to hang too much in the board and the flight is lower than the point, a shorter flight can help. Shorter flights make the dart stand more upright. Players who grip the dart at the front often opt for shorter flights because the weight is shifted towards the front, making the dart fly more steadily with less wobble.
Inbetween (68.6 mm): The shaft length is 26 mm. This size is ideal for many different playstyles. If you're unsure which length to go for, this is a safe choice to start with.
Medium (75.6 mm): The shaft length is 33 mm. If your dart stands too upright and the flight is much higher than the point, a longer flight can help. This shifts the centre of gravity towards the back of the dart. If you hold the dart at the back, a longer shaft will help stabilize the dart’s flight.
